MiniPTZ Surveillance Inc. has recently been established by Chris Wheeler in order to develop and market technology allowing for smaller, less obtrusive surveillance cameras than ever before. When completed these new panning, tilting, and zooming surveillance cameras should allow for features comparable to current cameras on the market, with the added benefit of a dome that is a fraction of the size of current models.

Utilizing the latest in computer aided design methods Chris Wheeler has developed proprietary technology that will allow panning, tilting, and zooming closed circuit surveillance cameras to fit in a dome that is less than one inch in diameter.

While the underlying design concept is a simple one, the creation of a working design has been quite a laborious process. Perfecting a design that provides optimum video quality in a minimum package size has developed into an extremely challenging task.
